About Us

We are a first generation farm trying to do better by our land. We believe that the land we work is just a gift to us and we are meant to be the stewards of improvement. This is accomplished on our farm by following regenerative agriculture practices to an extent that is manageable for our current situation.

Situated just outside of our small town, we are the gateway to the Palouse. The trees are scarce and the dryland hills begin to roll on our property. By the end of summer our dried up pastures have turned gold and the hills around us are doing the same with their wheat stubble.

Being fortunate enough to purchase our farm land in 2018, our family has been on a wild journey ever since. The 80 acre parcel had been in monocrop agriculture for as long as anyone on the street can remember. The land was raw and waiting for us to carve out just a sliver of it for our home site and livestock areas. In 2019 we took a leap of faith as a family and sold everything we owned to move into a 33 foot fifth wheel on our property. While this was meant to be temporary, we are still enjoying our tiny home life three years later! Not part of the plan at all, but we have made it work. We are hoping to be in our forever home by the end of this year or beginning of 2023. Things just take time when you do them yourself and work full time off of the farm.

The majority of our acreage is being used to grow Alfalfa Hay. We use some of the cuttings to feed our goats. The real benefit to this will be when we get back into cattle and can grow our own supply of hay for the herd to get through winter.

For now, we are focused on raising the best quality pork and poultry products possible on our remaining land. While it has been a HUGE learning curve over the last two years. We are finally finding our stride around the farm and getting to some of the milestones we had set for ourselves. With these accomplishments being made, we are only looking forward to what the future will bring to our family and farm life!
